Failure

It's a mutant! Let's get it high and see if it plays videogames!

Seriously, what does this have to do with failure? This animal is characterized by disorder, deformity, dysfunction, and an emotionally painful sadness. Although somewhat cute, it is very asymmetrical and lacks balance. The eyes are randomly placed and redundant functionally. The ears are different and the little tentacle... I just...don't know. The pair of eyes on the left side of the body seem sad and the beak, woefully bent, repeats that sentiment. This creature may be able to see things but is seemingly impotent to do anything about them. It is not fit to survive. Being only what it was born to be, it is likely to be rejected by its fellow creatures and nature itself and itself because it can't get what it wants or needs. The worst part about the whole matter is that if it possesses any awareness or feeling, it must live with its suffering. That sounds like failure to me.
